This notice distinguishes the browser website from the separate native iOS app. Website delivery data described below does not apply to the native app's offline diagnostic.
Website
The pressure-washer diagnostic on this website runs in your browser. Your diagnostic selections are held only in current browser memory and are cleared when you start over, reload, or close the page. We do not provide an account, advertising tracker, or analytics script.
Optional AI description draft
If you press “Prepare AI draft,” the symptom description you entered is sent to our configured AI service. It may return an editable summary, up to three missing-detail questions, and links selected from this site’s published symptom guides. It does not diagnose, give repair advice, make a safety decision, or change the diagnostic form. We do not ask for an account and do not intentionally store the description or result. When the server-side AI key is not configured or the service cannot be reached, the helper is unavailable and no browser-only AI substitute is shown.
External result links, model field, and Copy diagnosis
When a result suggests consulting a manual or a qualified repair provider, the result card offers fixed web-search links. Each link opens in a new tab with rel="noreferrer" — no referrer and no diagnostic answers are sent to the search engine. The links are generic, user-initiated search URLs with no affiliate parameters, no tracking, no lead form, and no specific merchant recommendation.
Those result cards also offer an optional pressure-washer model field labeled local-only. The model text you type is held only in this browser tab's memory — it is never saved to any storage and is cleared when you start over, reload, or close the page. If you type a model, only that model text is added to the manual and repair search links, and the model string is sent to the chosen search engine only after you click an external search link. Your diagnostic answers always remain local and are never included in any search link.
The "Copy diagnosis" button copies a plain-text summary to your device clipboard only; nothing is uploaded.
Standard website delivery data
As with any website, our hosting, DNS, and security providers may process standard request data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, timestamps, and security events to deliver and protect the site. We do not use that infrastructure data to build a profile of your diagnostic answers.
Website email
If you email us, your message and address are processed so we can respond. Do not send passwords, payment details, or sensitive repair records.
Native iOS app — build 1
The native Pressure Washer Fix iOS app performs its guided diagnostic entirely on-device. Answers are kept only in memory and are cleared when the app restarts. Native build 1 has no account, analytics, ads, in-app purchases, cloud sync, persistent answer storage, third-party SDK, or native network client.
After an explicit tap on Share summary, the app passes a plain-text summary to Apple's system share sheet. The user chooses whether to continue and chooses the destination; the app does not preselect or receive a share destination. This user-initiated sharing is separate from the website's browser-only search links, model field, and clipboard behavior.
